It wasn't so much hero worship on my part as much as it was adding to a list of sites that I check faster than they actually update. I'd check EA every week or so when I still had any semblance of a daily schedule and see what new article came up then laugh for about thirty minutes if there was one. Then I either move on to e/n post or letting go of my brain functions to play online games for hours on end, or other terrible things that may or may not be related to e/n post.

It was inevitable, you get a bit older and running a page like that becomes a bore and a chore, and the whole thing desperately needs cleaning out, restructuring, and an actual backend, a job which was too massive and with too little payoff for him to ever get around to.
